The time has come the walrus said to speak of many things… OK, so I read books when I was a kid. Still do. Mainly Biographies. I like to read a book at least 3 times, the first to get to the end, the second to enjoy & the third to get a better appreciation of the writing style of the author or the ghost writer. Each time I learn something new.
One of my favourite reads was about Winston Churchill. This man achieved more after he was 65 than most people achieve in a lifetime. Thank God we had Winnie when things got tough.
In his early career as a soldier Winnie would have learnt a lot about hand to hand fighting and I guess it was this experience that he must have had in mind when addressing me about to enter the fray he finished with “Gentlemen, just because you are about to kill a man, there is no need to be disrespectful”.
