A lot has crossed my desk in recent times.
CAPAH (Citizens Action group for Penrith Affordable Housing) meet regularly to move this and other projects forward. We are aiming to increase affordable rental accommodation that will enable people in community based employment such as ambos, nurses, teachers, firefighters, police etc… to rent accommodation below market rent to enable these tenants to save a bigger deposit for when they build a home.
I wrote to about 38 agents in Penrith asking for their support in this particular project on the basis that together as an industry, we can achieve so much more. I found it hard to believe but – only one agent (Bespoke Realty Group) put their hand up & Sharon we are grateful for that.
A very wise man once said…
If you want to do business with nice people, you have to be nice to the people you do business with.
