Who do you believe?
I have been saying that as far as I can make out there are insufficient positives in the economy both here and abroad for me to see any major changes to home interest rates for the rest of this year and all of next.
Is this a good thing? – I believe so!
Will it cause prices to fall dramatically? – I don’t believe so.
Will prices rise dramatically? – Again, I do not believe so.
I also believe that this is a great time to expand on your property portfolios. If investors want the best return immediately they should buy land and construct a home. New homes are easier to let and logically should have far less maintenance issues for a few years. Of course, being able to claim depreciation from day one is a big plus too.
